Poco X3 NFC smartphone test

The same can be said for the Poco X3 NFC, although this back cover, which is flat on the edges and imitates a mesh on the inside, is a little simpler, but it looks very good and does not collect fingerprints nearly as much as the glass variants. The blue color really hits in real life, it looks much better than in the factory pictures. I dare to risk that I have never seen such a beautiful device in this category, even though the ones made of glass tend to look the best. The quality is of course first class, as befits a Xiaomi phone. The housing is quite large, as the 6,67-inch display has to fit somewhere, and it is also heavy, the kitchen scale showed 242 grams, although according to the factory it is only 215.

The fingerprint reader is placed under the volume buttons, on the right edge, the operation of which differs from the back panel only in that the finger has to be placed on it from the side. I think it's a very convenient design, and I know that many people like to "save money" with the version built into the display, but the traditional one unlocks much faster. Why didn't he come back? Maybe they didn't want to spoil the Oblivion movie guard droid look. However, out of the 5 "lenses", only 4 are the camera and one is the LED flash, but that's how the shape gives it, so I don't mind. And in the front, a small slice was bitten into the display with a "punch machine" - this is the DotDisplay - and the selfie camera was placed here, which is almost invisible.

One of the very lovable features of Xiaomi phones is the very wide range of sensors.

Especially since in the segment where the Poco X3 NFC "enters the field", they don't really dare to miss anything. The SIM tray contains two slots, but you can even put a micro SD card in one of them. It also has NFC, a gyroscope, a notification LED, a compass and a pedometer. The WiFi is dual ac standard, the infrared port, stereo speaker and the Type-C port responsible for charging are on the bottom. Of course there's quite a bull in the box, It also has a charger capable of 33 W fast charging. The "pre-installed" screen protector and the silicone case ensure that it is not damaged, but the latter spoils the great look.

For some reason, the manufacturer treated the size of the memory as a big secret, so I was a little worried that there would only be a 4 GB version, but luckily they stayed with the minimum 6 Gigabytes of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage, which is what people 95% of them have enough. I ran the benchmarks, let's see what the third "Pocok" can do. 282 points in Antutu achieved in the GFX Bench T-Rex test 91 FPSt, and the write-read speed in Androbench is 495/256 MB. The latter is perhaps a bit of a disappointment, as it only supports the UFS 2.1 standard, but the speed of the system is not felt at all, everything starts and installs lightning fast.

When it comes to games, the Poco X3 NFC handles all the big names very well, the sound is quite good thanks to the stereo speakers. The vibration motor is especially strong, which provides excellent feedback on collisions under car booms, for example, but also on practically anything else that the developers have programmed. It has Game Turbo 3.0, which is the About Black Sharks can be familiar and arranges the games on a common interface. In addition, it also received Liquid Cool liquid cooling technology, which makes it cooler than average phones.

The operating time is a bit tricky, since the peculiarity of powerful phones is that users run hardware-intensive applications on them. Mobile manufacturers always compensate for this with some kind of bull charging solution – here the same 2 W as the Poco F33 Pro is available – so the operating time actually becomes secondary.

The battery with a capacity of 5160 mAh can be recharged in 65 minutes, thanks to QC support.

If I had to guess, the Poco X2,5 NFC would last 3-3 days in ascetic mode, but relatively few Indians will buy such a device.

On the camera front, the developers of the Poco X3 NFC have come up with a pretty good lineup:

When I looked at the pictures, I thought that this phone is a bit more expensive than HUF 70. So far, everything has worked so well that I really had to save money in the camera segment. I'm not saying that this is visible in the overall effect, but I was still left with a certain sense of loss after seeing the results. The main and ultra-wide sensors are nice, although they produce images with a little too much contrast. I can see some smearing at the edges, but I couldn't find any other flaws, regardless of whether I clicked at 000:1/1:3/4:9 or full screen.

The ultra-wide mode is very useful, and actually the depth of field sensor works well, not so the macro. These 2 Megapixel sensors have already failed with other phones, and here they are only good for taking poor pictures of very close subjects. Of course, there are the usual filters here too – gold, cyberpunk, etc. -, you can do all kinds of funny things, for example you can change the sky around the buildings, but the Mi 10 Lite already knew that. There is AI, HDR mode and of course Google Lens also works. It occurred to me that if the price of the Poco X3 NFC remains so low, the competitor's models will be in big trouble.
