And although the charger capable of VOOC charging was not included in the box of the EU version, one Ninkear A16 Pro notebook I use the one with a 100 W power supply and which has full-fledged Type-C ports, so I also charge through it. So, I wasn't in big trouble, 0-100% goes super fast, in 50 minutes for the 5500 mAh battery, if you use the right charging standard. It didn't want to drain for the world, I charged it on Friday and on Sunday evening it was still at 44%, next time I had to plug in the cable on Monday night. This, however I count it, 3 nap, which is amazing for a modern phone and I think it could have been used even more sparingly. Of course, if I look at the screen time, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G is no longer that great, but it is still average. Let's see what the hardware can do in real life and whether OnePlus' mid-range device has retained its old subtleties.

With the Lite indicator in the phone's name, it's not hard to guess that there is one Also a OnePlus Nord 4 device, with a more powerful central core. For this reason, I had one fear: although the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G is a cheap model, it is still a phone costing nearly HUF 100. We previously tested the Poco X6 Pro, which set the bar quite high, so I was a little afraid of how the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G would perform in comparison with the competition (first value is the Nord, second is the Poco X6 Pro):

However, the CE000 Lite gives back a lot in terms of operating time, but it cannot be driven that much, and I certainly felt this during use. It's a bit slow, just on the edge of usability, not very disturbing, but there is a bit of awkwardness in it.

Then I remembered that the Blackhark View 8 we also recently tested it, which at the time of writing the test cost HUF 57. I made another comparison, where the first value is also the Nord and the second is the Blackshark View 500:

This started to get more and more embarrassing, I almost felt the second shame that they really saved on the iron here. You can play with it, because everything scales down, but to put it mildly, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G didn't beat itself.

However, where it really shines is the display.

In principle, it was coated with a specular surface, which is also used by the OnePlus 11, which is why the colors are so beautiful and the contours are sharp. There is also AOD, which not only displays the location of the fingerprint reader, but also shows, for example, the charge level of the earphones. I used it in sunlight without any problems, every phone should have such a display.

There is no OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G test without reviewing the software part, which is the task Android 14pulled to OxygenOS 14 is loading. Anyone who has ever used OnePlus has come across this interface, it is attractive, clean, takes a bit of getting used to in places, but that's about it. Stable, fast, has some extra menus, which you should scroll through, and in addition, the big companies also load the basic apps - such as the camera - with extra options. The good news is that OnePlus has been providing updates to the operating system for many years and is expected to continue to do so. If this is your first 5G phone, it's good to know how the OxygenOS default setting is to prefer 5G networks, but for this you also need to order 5G on the subscription page. If you have not paid for the service, you will still have a mobile connection, but no data traffic, in this case switch your preferred network to 4G.

OnePlus cannot afford not to flash big on the camera front, because it is too well-known a manufacturer for that, so this segment has not been broken down very much. The presentation consists of the following:

• 50 MP, Sony LYT-600 sensor (same as the OnePlus Nord 4 unit)
• 2 MP sensor responsible for depth of field
• 16 MP selfie camera

It can be seen from the above that the boys did not think too much, the ultra-wide is omitted, for which it is a great pity, and the macro and why not, because they are always a scam. Only digital came from Zoom, but at least the main sensor is good. Plus he got it electronic and optical image stabilization, which also puts the photos in place nicely. The phone does not want to participate in the megapixel war, these 100 and 200 MP values ​​are fake anyway, as they are created using the pixel binning process, where 4 pixels are combined. But they are good for poster data, but they don't say much about the quality. Fortunately, even with the real resolution of 12,5 MP, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G is capable of taking pictures that stand out in its category, the colors are good, the contours are sharp - sometimes excessively so, overall, the overall effect is pleasant. The recordings are also frank at night, and the yellowing characteristic of standard Xiaomi phones is partially absent.

Regarding the videos, the resolution is disappointing, there is no 4K,

instead, it has stabilized 1080p 30 FPS, which is a bit slim in 2024. Overall the electronics struggle quite a bit with keeping the frames straight, therefore in some places spectacular jerks and corrections are added to the image stream, especially in the evening and at night. I think this greatly impairs the enjoyment, so it is not worth recording while moving. Stay in one place, then the situation will improve a lot, but others in this price range know that too.
