Mark Ryden Mini Bastion bag test
At the top of the ladder

I also received a bag from Mark Ryden, which doesn't sound like a Far Eastern brand. Compared to what the general public thinks about the Chinese clothing and accessories market, the company's products are surprisingly good and have some interesting features, such as a package lock or a USB output. Since this is a premium product, they ask for the price, it costs HUF 9100 BGHU1563 with a coupon code, but this already includes the price of delivery, VAT is paid by Banggood for its products.
There are 5 zippered sections, and the main storage is further divided into 8 sub-sections by all kinds of pockets, pen loops, and the like. As for the internal dimensions, the company gives the 9,7-inch iPad as a reference size, which fits in the largest pocket, together with all its other accessories, the power bank and cables. I didn't have an iPad at home, so the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus got into it, which he swallowed without a problem. I packed a good number of things with it, a Yoobao's 40 mAh battery, cables and other items, and it became clear on the way how well the spaces can be packed. Since this is a one-handed shoulder bag, but it can be carried anyway by putting the strap over your chest, it is not worth packing it with heavy things, because then the protrusions will start to put pressure on your shoulder blades. Nonetheless, the sponge on the back makes it very comfortable to wear and you can hook the strap from left to right with one movement, if for some reason you want to give your other hands more room to move. Its length is also very easy to adjust, if you pull one of the stems, the two strips will slide over each other. It doesn't stick, it doesn't get stuck, like with cheap tatyos, but it works perfectly.

One thing I didn't like, though, was the pocket on the strap.
Even though I set the strap to the shortest length, even then I should have reached too far back for the zipper, also over my shoulder. Since I'm not exactly a flexible boy, it didn't go very well, I would have brought this forward if I were the designers. I still can't quite figure out where to put the USB output for two reasons: one, if I definitely want to charge one of my devices, I have to put a power bank in the bag anyway, and then why not plug the thing to be charged directly into it? One exception I can mention is if you need to answer the phone quickly and because of that I don't want to dig around in your bag to find it. The other is that these cables they can't even carry a lot of current, and this problem also exists with the Mark Ryden, I couldn't fast charge my phone with the built-in cable with the Yoobao H40. However, all the electrons still went in, but this is not the real thing.
Mini Bastion has a very interesting feature that we have only seen so far Samsonite I saw it on a bag, even though it's a very different price category.
This is the so-called TSA Lock, As the Transportation Security Administration abbreviation, and a tiny red diamond shape marks its existence on suitcases and bags. The point is that a lock with a number code is built into the products, the end of the zipper must be inserted into this lock tongue, and thus prevents the opening of the given pocket. This is a particularly expensive and high-quality accessory, I have only seen it on high-end products. Obviously in the case of Mini Bastion only the main compartment is protected, since it would be physically impossible to pull the other zippers all the way to the lock. I found a nice video about the operation of the TSA Lock, which you can see above, you can see how to set the mechanism.
Summary
Mr. Mark Ryden, we have accepted you into the gentlemen's club. The Mini Bastion is a quality, very good material use, comfortable and practical bag, and its two accessories - TSA Lock and USB output - make the product particularly unique among Chinese competitors, even if the latter is not such a useful function in my opinion. The level that the manufacturer brings fully justifies the price, the small space size may arise as a possible excuse - I couldn't find the exact figure - but fortunately on Banggood the company other models are also available, which also satisfy such needs.
In light of the above, HUF 10 would not be a terrible price either, but a BGHU1563 it can be deducted with coupon code 9100 FtDue to the conversion rates of the webshops, the prices may differ for different currencies (e.g. if you set the webshop to HUF, the prices are usually higher than if you set it to USD). The prices indicated in the article are informative and in all cases are HUF equivalents of the price displayed on the webshop's interface in USD (or in EUR, if there is no USD option) (according to the interbank exchange rate valid at the time of writing the article)., and this already includes the price of delivery, the VAT is paid by Banggood for its products.
