The much loved Li-Ning shines like a bright star in the sky of Chinese running brands. But approx. After 8 pairs of shoes - yes, there will be a test on those too - I got a little bored with the brand. Then I ran into one of my favorite names from my childhood, Camel, and I was like, what can I do, I'll order a pair for HUF 6500. Fortunately, I didn't have to be disappointed, it's a great pike, I'll tell you why.

I chose this footwear because, let's face it, I oversold myself a little From Li-Ning running shoes, and even though I wear out 3 pairs a year, it takes a lot of time to wear them all out. So I turned to street shoes, but Li-Ning produces few of them - although the Heather for example, it's not bad - and what it is, I think most of it is ugly or bazaar. Better for the street some solid stuff you pick up, especially one that is one can also be matched with jeans, that is, it's okay if it's blue. THE Camel Ultralight and it's just like that.

I would like to give a little explanation as to why I only wrote the word "presentation" in the title and not the test. Camel Ultralight on Aliexpress as running shoes they advertise, or more precisely, the sellers write everything they can think of in the title, just throw it up on Google. So they think the name of the shoe is: “CAMEL Ultralight Breathable Men Shoes Sports Running Shoes Outdoor Men Shoes Comfortable Jogging Walking Male Sneakers”, simply the manufacturer he can't come up with a normal fantasy name for his products, yet also on the official website they say pretty much the same thing, and it's even almost $10 more expensive here. By the way, the name Ultralight is appropriate because 238 gramm the shoe In size 45, which is quite alright.

How much exactly does a product cost?

For the sake of simplicity, we always convert the USD prices into forints in our articles, usually according to the calculator on the given page. However, the reality is that your bank exchanges the currency HUF 4-5 worse than the interbank exchange rate, which means that the product always costs a little more than the stated price.

You can help by ordering these completely free bank cards, a Revolut, Monese and Curve also offer this – for the latter, you get 5 GBP for free, in the app D4WGX4ZE use a coupon code - or the menu bar at the top #fintech click on the label to read our posts on the topic.

The official site brings us closer to the truth, since the shoe type in field a Running Shoes words are included, and in principle this is one planned for a marathon shoe. On the other hand, I would like to see something more striking, more populist on my feet while running, than, say, "badass" Li-Ning Roughv Rabbit IV the orange piece, I think Camel is too solid for that. But how do you know that a shoe is designed for running? Several signs point to it - for example, it is mentioned on the site or in the press material - but I think so the sole is always the most talkative.

As far as the Xiaomi Freetie on the sole with molded EVA foam insert, it seems that it has little to do with faster progress, so the notes associated with running are echoed on the Camel Ultralight - I named it this arbitrarily, because the manufacturer is unable to give it a meaningful name - sole. First, the white part is one shock-absorbing EVA insert, and the black one read on it is one wear surface, and it is asymmetrical because it is typically formed there during running by the rotation of the foot cross wear, where the reinforcement was placed. By the way, the grooved surface also helps to step off by increasing the grip, but this is now "secondary" from our point of view. Unfortunately, the company does not provide other information, e.g. what technological achievement was hidden in the midsole.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of 10 o'clock, that is, in European numbering 45 I ordered it, even though I typically have size 44 shoes, but they do exist, sometimes you look into them. What can be done in this case? Elevate it with a thicker, premium shoe insole. However, it turned out that the length of 265 mm, i.e. size 270, is perfect for my 9,5 mm foot. not a tight fit shoes like say the Li-Ning Rouge Rabbit 2016/2017. Of course, it's still a little big, but when I tighten the shoe laces, my foot doesn't move in it, so I can use it as a full-fledged pike.

What I was particularly happy about was that the material is not completely mesh,

for you have no doubts a shoe is typically cheap because there is less material in it. This is fine for a summer pike like the Li-Ning Heather, and for a running shoe the low weight is even an advantage, but you need something more robust for the street. For the Camel Ultralight there are artificial leather inserts in addition to the woven material, it is thick enough, I didn't feel cold even while walking around. Moreover comfortable, the sole is not too soft, so it does not ripple and it lasts well.

In terms of quality, it is like a Li-Ning,

ami a highest praise, which a shoe can get from Chinese competitors, but I could also mention any Western brand. Of course, time will tell how much it depreciates, but it doesn't seem terrible. I went out for a short run in it on a record track, and it holds its own there, but if you were looking for shoes for sports, the Li-Nings beat everyone so much that I'd rather choose them, even though the Camel is also fine.

But if it's sports, hikers and cross country runners I would recommend that the Camel is quite a lot of this kind shoes and boots also produces and they don't look bad, but obviously they don't cost HUF 6-7000. In this topic, by the way Humtoo cross-country runners - e.g. ez vagy ez – I wink at him, but April is still far away.

Summary

Again, they made a good choice, after the excellent Li-Nings, Camel also showed that it is indeed from China patent footwear can be tucked in, and the Camel Ultralight is no exception. The hybrid running/leisure shoes are excellent for street use, even if you have to jog in them, but I think the color scheme is too solid for that. Let's say there is one neon yellow on a gray background a specimen with inserts, it hits my stimulus threshold for that reason alone.

Whatever you use it for, in this a HUF 6-8000 the thing is worth it. Right now HUF 7200They ask for it, which is a little below the average price according to our price checking program, so anyone who can afford it can take it if there is a suitable size for them.
