Our returning readers are sure to know that wherever we can, electric unicycle we go, but the bad weather often prevents us from doing so. That's why we got it heated clothing for winter, and that's why we also looked at the main character of our test, the raincoat, so that heavy showers can't hinder you in traffic. I had plenty of opportunity to test it live in the good rains of May, and it does its job excellently.

The set consists of a pair of pants and a jacket, both made from the same typical raincoat material. The advantage of this is that it really won't get wet, the disadvantage is that it doesn't ventilate, so it's not a good idea to wear it in the long term, because you can sweat in it. The choice of colors is plentiful, more extreme people can choose visibility vest green or garbage bag blue, I preferred the more solid gray. It's a little shiny in person, but not nearly as plastic-like as in the product photos. I won't say that I felt fashionable in it, but if someone sees me driving with it in the rain, they won't think that the kid looks like an idiot, but will nod in appreciation at the ingenious equipment. We ordered size S based on the size chart on Banggood, and it turned out well (I'm between M and L in domestic sizing), so you can safely rely on the given conversion data.

At the bottom of the pants and at the back of the jacket, a mesh ventilation surface has been created, on which an upper layer hangs, so that the water resistance remains, but somewhat improves the zero ventilation of the garment. The ends of the stems on both garments are rubberized, so they hold tight and water cannot flow under them. If necessary, the zipper can be pulled up to the top of the hood, so that water can be sufficiently prevented from entering the neck.

We also have reflective elements on the leg of the pants and the back of the jacket, so other road users can see us better even if we don't buy the neon yellow piece. My only problem with it is that it has no pockets at all, neither on the jacket nor on the pants. This made it a bit inconvenient to use when, for example, I wanted to take out my phone. However, at least one inner pocket could have fit in the jacket.

The material is particularly thin, so it only protects against the rain, but does not warm, so it is better to use it from spring to autumn, it is not very practical in winter. Because of this, it is very light, the extra layer of clothing is not even noticeable, and it fits in a small space, so you can keep it in your backpack at all times so that the rain never comes as a surprise. The quality of the seams, the zipper and the whole dress is absolutely good, not a single detail feels crappy, I really liked it.

Summary

The rain suit fulfills its task perfectly, it protects you completely from the rain whether you are cycling, walking, hiking or driving in another vehicle. It is of good quality, light, fits in a small space and is really effective, so I was absolutely convinced. Only the crazy price is a bit high, it can be bought for HUF 13 BG8700 with coupon code. In addition, it is above the VAT limit, so we ask for an extra 5 dollars with EU Priority Line delivery - so that it is VAT-free - or customs insurance we'll make it cheaper, but not for a full refund. Although it is true that we will not put together such a set from Decathlon for less.
