Teclast T60 tablet test /Updated/
There is also a good display around 80

The Teclast T60 tablet is the latest scalp in our collection. However, it is a very tasty beast, with an excellent 12-inch, 2K IPS display, which beats the competition by a lot. 80 in this one FtDue to the conversion rates of the webshops, the prices may differ for different currencies (e.g. if you set the webshop to HUF, the prices are usually higher than if you set it to USD). The prices indicated in the article are informative and in all cases are HUF equivalents of the price displayed on the webshop's interface in USD (or in EUR, if there is no USD option) (according to the interbank exchange rate valid at the time of writing the article). I don't think there are many better products in the around category, so you should take a closer look at the tab. Delivery costs HUF 500, VAT is paid by the webshop, as it comes from a warehouse in Hong Kong.
Unlike e.g. with the charging, since the Teclast T60 also has an 8000 mAh capacity battery.
This It can be powered with 18 W via the Type-C port, which is not too much for such a large site, which is a pity. It's next to the charging port 2 speakers, supplemented by 2 more on the top edge, that is, a quad system works in the T60. This is good because you can't cover them all while playing and movies sound better. Excluding the dual SIM tray, many things are not visible on the tablet, so it is worth looking into the technical parameters.

A dear reader told us that, unlike the competitors, there is automatic brightness control, which I did not find at first.
Separately, the function must be switched on from the menu, or if you don't want this, you can still set it manually. However, there is dual WiFi, BT module, gyroscope, support for 4 satellite systems, storage expansion, 4G modem, so pretty much the usual. Unfortunately, 5G and WiFi 6 were left out, NFC didn't even exist no chocolate either.
The latter is not very steely, with regard to the Teclast T60, not so much attention was paid to moving the bits quickly, as you will see in the benchmark results. As for games, this is very much not a gaming tablet, the Mali-G57 GPU has to move 2000×1200 pixels, and it doesn't go so smoothly. But let's look at the results:
- Antutu V10: 299 points
- GFX Bench, T-Rex on-screen/off-screen test: 24/25 FPS
- storage speed, write/read: 352/319 Mbps
- PcMark Work 3.0: 7799 points
If you compare our other tablet tests from the last 1 year, you can see that the Teclast T60 tablet performs moderately. Models equipped with the Helio G99 SoC – for example Alldocube iPlay 50 Pro - they beat him, while the other Tigersoc T chip models lag behind, you can see this one Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini in its test. In practice, this means that the 13-a Droid doesn't get stuck, surfing the net and watching videos is pleasant with it, but games scale down nicely to lower graphics settings. As a gamer tablet, its large size and significant weight - 558 grams - hinders it, but it's not bad fun when propped up on the couch. Still, it's quite a good experience to use the T60, the key to which is the excellent display.

On paper, the 2000-inch IPS panel with 1200×12 pixels does not offer anything extra, but Teclast knows something, because the image is particularly beautiful and the brightness is quite high.
The manufacturer does not specify how much I think it can be somewhere between 5-600 nits. There is one problem that also confuses the viewing angles a bit: it reflects terribly, you will see a maximum of fingerprints in sunlight, but a matte film can be a solution for this, especially since the factory gloss is quite poor. The touch sensitivity is also fine, it is better to use than traditional tablets and I think there are not many things more important than a good display in a tablet. Let's say from a movie viewing point of view still this resolution makes no sense, because you only get a black bar at the bottom and top, but the larger area is beneficial for surfing the net.
Of course, you might still be annoyed by a bad user interface that Teclast put on the main version of Android 13, but fortunately, they got that right. The overall effect is nice and clean, they didn't load it with unnecessary software, they don't want to be smarter than you. GAPPS is full-featured, and streamers can rejoice in the for Widevine L1 level, so subscriptions can also be used with reasonable resolution. I tried with Netflix the Teclast T60 tablet, it excelled there, I think the situation is exactly the same with the others. The GPS worked perfectly, but it caught the satellites a little slowly, although I think anyone could navigate with it when connected. As for the operating time, I started PcMark's battery test at 9pm and it was still running at 6am. That's pretty convincing, isn't it?

As for the cameras, there was a bit of confusion in the press material, as 130 and 50 megapixels were written. The rear unit is 13 MP, and the front unit is 5 MP, but of course you don't have to expect miracles from them. They do their job, but that's it, they're not enough to take very good pictures, the color fidelity leaves something to be desired, to put it mildly, and the line sharpness, for example, is not too great. If you turn on HDR, you get shockingly bad pictures, as you can see in the gallery. Further objects are not detailed enough, as the resolution of the sensors is small. And the selfie camera is totally out of focus, I wouldn't use it. If necessary, cameras can be used to take pictures of important things, but you won't capture your experiences with them, especially since everyone has a cell phone in their pocket.
Videos 1080p 30FPS could be made alongside, and what surprised me, there is some image stabilization. Not that it matters much, it's a pain to watch the content, it's blurry, out of focus, even in bright sunlight, and for some reason it's also terribly grainy, but I don't know anyone who videos with a tablet, so the function probably won't be important in the case of the Teclast T60 either.
Summary
The Teclast T60 is not big, it is a fairly typical 12-inch tablet, however has two extras in addition to his usual weaknesses. It could charge faster and the central core could be beefier, but it's not such a big problem. I really liked the display - except that it glitters -, typically a movie-watching machine lying in bed, with quite high brightness. If necessary, you can even surf the Internet on it as long as you have signal strength. He also likes streaming, a Widevine L1 certification because of this, content can be consumed in normal quality. The other is a quad speaker system, the stuff sounds very good, it's pleasant to listen to.
I quickly checked what it was like they are competitors available on Banggood, Oukitel and Blackview are also more expensive, but their central core is more powerful and they got more RAM. If you vote for the Teclast T60, then 80 000 FtDue to the conversion rates of the webshops, the prices may differ for different currencies (e.g. if you set the webshop to HUF, the prices are usually higher than if you set it to USD). I think the price is realistic, but take a look around tested tablets in between, to see if you can find a better alternative.
