BlitzWolf pokes its nose into everything, it just launched a lamp. However, this is a very special piece, because the LED structure can be clipped onto a monitor, and on the one hand, it is very practical that it does not take up space on the table, and on the other hand, it also dims the light coming from the monitor. It's free, that its brightness and color temperature can be adjusted, and it's also cheap, they charge HUF 6600 for it BGHU0737  with code. They are sent from a Czech warehouse, so you don't have to mess with customs. A real piece to keep, I recommend it to everyone.

I am writing an opinion

Many things are not included in the box, but there is no reason to

a USB cable with switch integrated into the LED lamp, so only one description is added to the object. The item consists of two pieces in total, from a clip-on holder equipped with a counterweight, and from the LED lamp itself, which a control panel was placed on its cable. With this you can turn the light strip on and off, 10 steps – in the range of 500-1000 Lux – you can adjust the brightness of the light source, Respectively you can change the color temperature in 3 steps, between 2800-6500 K. By the way, this is very practical and feels so bright replaces that 5 W, 400 lumen IKEA bulb, which I used in my arm lamp until now, in fact, maybe even stronger than that.

As for quality, I'd say medium for the mount and cabling,

the control panel, on the other hand, is the penny plastic, right this is fortunately an aesthetic issue, is not functional, as it works perfectly fine. The lamp body is aluminum, which I would say is good rather than average, so the part facing you is made of better materials. The thing works perfectly, and since the casing was put together on the principle of coffin lights - the one above the pool tables - so it spreads the light to the side, i.e. it does not blind at all. Changing the color temperature is also good for if you want to read or write something in front of the machine, it won't be unpleasant either. By the way, the lamp can be held in two ways, there is a spring clamp on it that can be adjusted to the thickness of the display, but if this is too much, the bottom of the counterweight received a sticky coating, so it can even be used with an old CRT monitor, if someone still has one at home.

It takes power through a USB end,

that is, it can easily be powered from a laptop. By the way, I was surprised that it can also operate with maximum brightness from the port capable of delivering 900 mAh. The trick here is to the lumen values were not given, but the lux, the difference between the two you can read it here. Since I can't measure any of them with great certainty, I would say that good light, the maximum strength is more than enough next to a desk. However, it bothered me that it cannibalizes the USB input of my laptop, like this I put it on a regular phone charger and plugged it into the outlet. On the other hand, the one who would take it with him for some reason is you can also use it with your notebook as already mentioned. In this case, moreover, actually also works as a keyboard light, which is also a very useful thing.

In summary, what the BlitzWolf BW-CML1 is good for and why I find it very useful:

  • it triggered my desk lamp, saving a lot of space (and not smashing the wall with the end of the arm lamp)
  • its brightness is high enough that can be read or written next to it
  • protects the eyes the monitor is not so blinding
  • the stuff is portable since It works from USB
  • if not keyboard lighting on your notebooks, it will also solve this problem

Summary

Real BlitzWolf's strip light is a missing item, which I can't say too much bad about, but obviously also because it's a tool that rivals the complexity of a wooden wedge. I listed its advantages above, but I would add that it is very practical to use, and since it is USB, it can also be powered from a laptop or power bank, but it can even be plugged into a socket with a simple phone USB charger. He liked it so much that I bought one for myself BGHU0737  code 6600 FtDue to the conversion rates of the webshops, the prices may differ for different currencies (e.g. if you set the webshop to HUF, the prices are usually higher than if you set it to USD). The prices indicated in the article are informative and in all cases are HUF equivalents of the price displayed on the webshop's interface in USD (or in EUR, if there is no USD option) (according to the interbank exchange rate valid at the time of writing the article).Everything can be said about the product, except that it is expensive, so I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. It is sent from a Czech warehouse, so you don't have to mess with customs either.

Pro

  • Useful, practical, replaces a traditional table lamp
  • Adjustable brightness and color temperature
  • Cheap
  • It can be mounted on several monitor sizes
  • It can be operated from a USB port

Kontra

  • The quality of the plastics could be better
