BlitzWill BW-NL1 is one of the first products of the new sub-brand: a three-meter long, flexible, smart RGBIC LED strip. It can be controlled by remote control, but it also has an application, it can be easily bent, freely programmed, and can also be controlled by voice, so it can flash to music. The creative mood lighting can also be purchased from the EU warehouse, a BGXIFD095  and about 18 by entering a coupon code FtDue to the conversion rates of the webshops, the prices may differ for different currencies (e.g. if you set the webshop to HUF, the prices are usually higher than if you set it to USD). Be the first

Forgive me for not drilling the wall at several points for mounting, and therefore it is not as spectacular as it would be in reality if I mounted it with its own channels everywhere. It is not visible in the video below, nor even in the more distant photos. By the way, I would like to note here the first 2 disadvantages of the technology: in order for it to be something of quality and to give a really nice light, it must have the aforementioned cross-section, it cannot have a "zero" thickness like a current RGB LED strip. Because of this it is heavy and can't stay up permanently anywhere with double-sided adhesive. This three-meter piece, for example, is 400 grams. It doesn't sound like a lot, but when you hold it in your hand, it has mass.

The other thing you should consider: the controller and power cord will hang at one end, so it's worth picturing them on the wall in such a way that they can be seen, which is somewhat different from the press photos. For the sake of aesthetics, they have to be removed somehow, but they really can't be plugged, because the remote control is infrared, so if you want to use it, you have to be able to "shoot at" the infrared eye sticking out of the controller.

When I first turned it on, the ribbon flashed red, which indicates the pairing mode, and with the Smart Life application, I connected in 1 minute. I've never used anything like this before, so it's a no-brainer for me

it was a positive surprise how intuitive, easy to use and stable the app's interface is.

I easily achieved everything I wanted on it, and I didn't have to do the math on what to achieve where. I didn't really do much with the DIY part, I was so attached to the pre-set "pictures". There are so many, everyone will find something suitable here, and if you get bored, you can still choose the good old fixed colors. Watch the video below, it gives you a good idea of how the application works and what the LED does during it.

It is clear that the range of possibilities is endless. But also that

voice control leaves something to be desired.

You could say it doesn't have much to do with the beat in either mode, most of all flashed back and forth, so I wouldn't force this thing, but the preset animations look very good, I really enjoyed using them.

The remote control is moderately useful, the application is much smarter and easier to use, but if there is no phone nearby or it would be fiddly to turn it on, then there is the controller, which can still be used to control quite a lot of things.

The brightness can be set very low, and even then the colors do not fall apart.

Its consumption is not significant (maximum 36 W), especially not at full brightness. The WiFi connection also works perfectly (unfortunately, however, it only works on 2,4 GHz), so you don't need an infrared phone, you can switch it on from a network from anywhere. It is a surprising interesting fact that the tape itself (up to the power connection, not including it) complies with the IP67 standard, so even

can also be used outdoors.

Another question is that this does not apply to the care, it must also be insulated in such a case.

I would like to raise one additional problem. A piece of 3-meter tape might sound like a lot, but in reality it will not be a design on the wall like in the marketing photos. What's more, the big stinky situation is that you can't even do something like this picture above the paragraph with it. They show a thousand tiny parts that are apparently not connected to the others, if they are, then the question arises as to how, for example, the care is nowhere to be seen. What I mean by this is that it is it can be a very good design element, but it has to be handled properly, you can't "fold" anything from it onto the wall, especially not in one piece. And the marketing photos are a big hoax.

Summary

I did the scoring as follows. Reliability is 10 because I did not encounter any malfunctions while using it. Design and material quality, too, because I can't complain about anything here. In terms of equipment and functions, it was "only" 8, because I classified here that flashing to music works rather hectically. Regarding ergonomics, I mostly took into account the app, which I think is a pharmacy, and the price/value ratio is also only 8, because it is not so cheap.

All in all, the BW-NL1 is an excellent product. I can best recommend it for children's rooms, living rooms, man-caves, home pubs in basements, next to jacuzzis, accommodation for guests and similar places. It gives a very atmospheric, beautiful, even light, the application is also a very well thought-out solution, and all in all, I feel on the product that money and energy were really spent on its development. THE BGXIFD095  using a coupon code 18 100 FtDue to the conversion rates of the webshops, the prices may differ for different currencies (e.g. if you set the webshop to HUF, the prices are usually higher than if you set it to USD). The prices indicated in the article are informative and in all cases are HUF equivalents of the price displayed on the webshop's interface in USD (or in EUR, if there is no USD option) (according to the interbank exchange rate valid at the time of writing the article).from a Czech warehouse, with free shipping, which is nominally not much, but the product is so good that I can say: it's worth it.
