It is powered by two 1000-watt motors, making it ideal for climbing, and its top speed reaches almost 65 km/h. Be the first

The L2 Max, like the GX1, comes almost fully assembled,

your only task is to mount the handlebars and then the display. You don't even have to mess with the height of the handlebars, because unfortunately they can't be adjusted. Of course, before you jump on them and go don't forget the basics: It doesn't hurt to tighten the screws, adjust the brakes and inflate the tires, plus visit, for example, the Netrisk side. The point is that you get a scooter that can be assembled with practically zero technical knowledge in exchange for your money.

The manufacturer includes everything you need for this approximately 10-minute task. It is a sturdy, comprehensive instructions, 3 Allen keys, It includes a few quick-release straps and a pair of white gloves, although you won't need the latter because you won't get your hands dirty. Of course, the scooter charger is also included, so it wouldn't hurt to get another one, because The L2 Max has two charging ports, so the charging time of more than half a day can be downloaded.

The L2 Max's chassis, like many of its competitors, aluminum alloy is being made, which is very solid, I can't say a bad word about it. The tread and really every other part sufficiently robust, nothing wobbles or creaks, it is very solid, it can be loaded with up to 130 kilograms. Its design looks fantastic overall, it consists of light and dark gray elements, nothing fancy. Anyone who is even a little familiar with the world of electric scooters will easily notice that The L2 Max is very similar to the KuKirin G2 Master, test here however, the manufacturer tried to with its own developments tuning up this scooter – more on that later.

Ausom L2 Max electric scooter test – Off-road teleport

The L2 Max one of the interesting things already noticeable during unpacking/assembly: The handlebar hides a USB-A and a USB-C connector, so you can charge your gadgets while you're on the go. A roller Another interesting feature is that an AirTag can be hidden in the same part of the handlebar, which is worth its weight in gold from a marketing perspective, but it's worth knowing that its functionality is limited and will not be a solution in every theft situation.

AirTag is not a GPS device, it does not have its own mobile internet or location system.

Instead Broadcasts a Bluetooth signal to nearby devices: iPhone, iPad, Mac. So, if your L2 Max is stolen and put in a godforsaken safe, there will most likely be no iOS device nearby, making the AirTag virtually invisible and unable to send its location. And Android phones don't participate in Apple's "Find My" network by default.

Anyway, it's not like it's that easy to ride an L2 Max, as it's fleeting. weighs 33 kilograms, so woe to anyone who wants to do the logistics of this. This is no longer the category that you easily fold up and take with you on public transport, but rather one that you are glad you can fold up and lift into the trunk of your car at all.

Looking at the structure and capabilities of the test subject, there is no question that the L2 Max off-road also quite good. Both wheels have a 1000 watt motor, however, these only represent the nominal performance. Their total power is 2688 watts, which refers to the peak power available for a short period of time when the motors receive maximum voltage and current – whether it's starting off, a fat throttle or climbing a hill. For this performance 30 Nm torque associated with and its top speed is just shy of 65 km/h, ami

It's brutal, to say the least: a thrilling and soul-crushing experience at the same time.

In the name of speed and convenience Can be started with an NFC card The Ausom L2 Max rolls on 10-inch wheels with 8-centimeter wide off-road tires. In the stop cable disc brake will be there to help you, because The test subject gets a black point, as a hydraulic brake would be more suitable for such performance and speed, but unfortunately this is not typical in this price range. It operates in 3 modes: eco, race and sport, but if we take it really strictly, there are a total of 6 ways, because the Single and dual motor drive can be selected at the push of a button. It also has a so-called mode 0, which is nothing more than the "park", which it immediately puts itself into after 30 seconds of "inactivity". There is also the walking mode, which means rolling at 5 km/h, so if you're going home drunk (obviously not), you'll have a stable base.

The Ausom L2 Max features double spring suspension: its suspension is very serious, It can easily handle potholes and deeper, muddy puddles or cobblestone roads without your internal organs shaking at the end. It absorbs the bumps that are very typical of Hungarian roads well and the spring travel is quite long, at least on the front wheel. The e-scooter overall stable and well-controlled, It's a monster, but its road holding is still great. On paper, it can climb 46-degree slopes, which is a bit of a fairy tale and I can't exactly confirm or deny it, but I was lucky enough to climb slopes at least half that size on the Danube bank, where it took me laughing uphill in sport mode at a speed of almost 30 km/h.

A 4,5-inch color LED display It shows all the necessary data: current speed, selected gear, battery charge level, range, and every button has feedback, including, of course, the brake.

The speedometer is funny because it is scaled up to 160, but the only negative thing about the display is that it is not easy to read in bright sunlight.

You can find the index switch on the left side of the handlebars, but here is a another negative It stands out because it reacts very sensitively. The button next to it, labeled DDM, is double motor drive activates it, and the throttle lever is not a thumb or grip solution, but you can pull it with your index finger and it is located on the right side of the handlebar. An interesting solution, not sure if it is comfortable for everyone in the long run, but for me, I prefer it much more than the grip solution. On the right side of the handlebar there is a Control Panel, where you will find the buttons for turning it on and off, increasing/decreasing the speed, and using them you can switch the L2 Max's lights, of which there are quite a few on the scooter.

The blue LED light on the stage is incredibly annoying because it's guaranteed to blind you in the dark.

Fortunately can be switched off separately, This leaves only the classic white LED light at the front, which is strong enough to illuminate and blind oncoming traffic for several meters. The turn signal lights are located on both sides of the step, which are noticeable from the side, but less so from the front or rear, and even less so from the car. The rear fender is stable, with a reflective prism on it, which functions as both a running light and a brake light.

Under the L2 Max's step, there is a 48 volt 20,8 Ah capacity battery lies, this means a capacity of 998,4 Wh. Can be charged via two charging ports at the same time, which were in a pretty bad spot because I managed to kick them a few times while putting my foot forward on the step. The manufacturer only provides one charger, which takes a little more than half a day to fully charge the scooter from zero, but with two chargers this time can be reduced to 6-7 hours.

According to the manufacturer, the test subject can travel 90 kilometers on a single charge, which is the maximum that can be achieved if you absolutely do not use this bull scooter in a realistic way.

They also state that this was measured with a body weight of 65 kilograms, a continuous speed of 15 km/h and on a straight road section, at 20 degrees Celsius, without strong winds, and with only single-motor drive. If you take advantage of the double engine You have hidden talents and you don't regret it. in the field, then don't be surprised if you barely 35 kilometers will end up, however, if you use the two motor drives in a 50/50 ratio and maximum sport mode, on less rough terrain, with a few hills, then 45-55 kilometers you can count.

Ausom L2 Max electric scooter test – Service experiences

The first stop when testing electric scooters is always the Roll-Base service, where after a long time I was finally able to show the owner, János, something he had never seen before – at least only in part. I mentioned at the beginning of the test that The Ausom L2 Max wants to be more like the KuKirin G2 Master, but still with the manufacturer's own developments and solutions. Although the two electric scooters have similar parts, many things are unique to the current test subject. The folding mechanism is modeled after the KuKirin models, but it is not the same, It's just very similar. The off-road tires are completely new, they've never been serviced like this before.

One thing is for sure: The Ausom L2 Max overall sufficiently ergonomic and advantageous solutions, making it a great choice. A big advantage is that there have been only good experiences with contacting the manufacturer so far, as they are helpful and there are plenty of parts, which is not measured in gold.

Summary

The Ausom L2 Max pleasant disappointment was during the test, an ideal choice for both city and rougher than average terrain. Of course, it has its weaknesses: such as the overly sensitive index switch, the display that is less visible in the light, and what is a bigger problem with these is the cable disc brake. This test subject can demonstrate serious performance and a top speed of more than 60 km/h, so Hydraulic brakes would be better. The exceptionally good suspension and the two powerful engines make every minute spent on the scooter enjoyable and dynamic, while the two, built-in connector Thanks to this, your devices can rest, or rather charge, even while on the go. Need more than that?
