I run quite a lot, so I appreciated it when the Xmund treadmill arrived in the mail, which I can safely say is a "budget" product in this market segment. They ask HUF 2 for the XD-T80 BGBFQ54  with a coupon code, you can't get anything at home for that much, even though, as you'll see from the test, they didn't cheat on the technical content, it's a full-fledged sports equipment. The product is sent from an EU warehouse with free shipping, so this promises to be a very good deal.

A few other features are also worth mentioning, such as tilt angle setting, Music via BT connection, "portability" and that collapsibility, and of course the use of materials should not be too dirty either. Now that I've pretty much managed to parameterize things, let's see if the Xmund XD-T2 matches them. As far as the use of materials is concerned, the machine is pretty much okay, it feels like they worked with cheap materials, but I don't think this affects the operation. Where it should be strong, there it is, e.g. if you turn the belt over, you can see that the belt runs in a solid welded frame structure, the pads located at the bottom hold the treadmill well against the laminate floor.

There is a "handrail" on the upper part that you can hold on to while running, otherwise this handrail can be closed by unscrewing the two screws on the side. This is not a happy solution in that it is quite fiddly to do so. It would be better to have some kind of simpler mechanism to implement this, because folding it is not that easy, despite the fact that the XD-T2 has two wheels at the front, which means that it can be lifted away or pushed under the bed, so it does not take up space 2 square meters in the main room. It can be loaded up to 100 kilograms while running and 120 kilograms while walking, and I watched videos about it, it seems it can really withstand this.

As far as its functionality is concerned, the handrail can also be kept folded down permanently, in which case the device goes into walking mode

and allows a maximum speed of 6 km/h 600 W motor, while this is folded up the limit is 12 km/h rise. I would click a little on this number to see what it means. Anyone who has ever been to a serious running race or seen the start of one - it's not too difficult to run in something like this in Budapest - knows that competitors start from zones. Each section is 30 seconds faster, the last zone is typically for riders at 6:30-7min/km or slower, and each section tapers down accordingly. I usually start from zone 3 or 4, this is a pace of 5-6 minutes/kilometer, so it is not difficult to calculate, if I could continuously run long distances at 5 minutes/kilometer - but I can't -, then I could maximize the knowledge of Xmund XD-T2. Perhaps an even more sensitive example is that amateurs are already very happy with a half-marathon within 2 hours, you need to cover one kilometer in 5 minutes and 42 seconds, on this calculator Based on.

So, Xmund's product serves everyone up to the top of the amateur level,

obviously a Tyson Gay won't train on it, but neither will a professional runner. Not only because, for example, the angle of the tape cannot be adjusted. This is a problem because it is based on practical experience running on a treadmill is a little easier than running under your own power, that is why they usually raise the slope of the tape by roughly 1-1,5% to make it harder to exert force, thereby simulating reality. In return, he knows things like BT speaker based music playback, the quality of which is not great, but it's nice that you can play music during sports - but I've also watched videos that way - and that a phone holder was also installed on the handrail, which also fits a smaller tablet, so you could even watch a movie while moving.

Xmund XD-T2 Treadmill – Just a little lame in practice

To start the treadmill the remote control located in the slot on the right side of the machine is required, it does not have a control panel, that is, you can only use the three-button controller, you can monitor the current status on the LCD display placed in front of your feet. Control is a snap, the middle button on the remote stops and starts the XD-T2, and the bottom and top buttons decrease and increase speed.

I especially hated the sensitivity of the remote control,

the buttons can be pressed in with the delicacy of a log. If you poke a little, that's the problem, if a lot, then that's it, so it can be made to work with roughly average power. I also replaced 3 batteries because I thought the problem was there - two are added as standard - but that didn't help either, unfortunately that's how it is. It is also annoying that you can only increase the speed in tenths, and since the tape starts at 1 km/h and the maximum is 12, it will take you a while to get there. Fortunately, a long press starts spinning the numbers properly, but it still takes about 1 minute to get to the desired speed, so this is a significant ergonomic flaw.

How much exactly does a product cost?

For the sake of simplicity, we always convert the USD prices into forints in our articles, usually according to the calculator on the given page. However, the reality is that your bank exchanges the currency HUF 4-5 worse than the interbank exchange rate, which means that the product always costs a little more than the stated price.

You can help by ordering these completely free bank cards, a Revolut, Monese and Curve also offer this – for the latter, you get 5 GBP for free, in the app D4WGX4ZE use a coupon code - or the menu bar at the top #fintech click on the label to read our posts on the topic.

Of course, this treadmill also has an emergency stop clip,

you have to click this on your clothes, it works on a magnetic principle, and if the connection is lost, the machine stops immediately. This can also be used as a "child lock", if you remove the magnetic stuff, the machine will not start. Safety is also supported by other things: there is a main switch that cuts off the power to the equipment, and an oil inlet on the left side - an oiler is provided as part of the package - where the smoothness of the tape can be guaranteed, so it does not rub or pinch. The Xmund XD-T2 comes oiled as standard, so you don't have to deal with this after unpacking.

Put the clip on your clothes, then click on the "táltos" and start running. At first, I started the movement by walking into it, then when I got used to the feeling of the traction force created by the belt and the engine, I started to increase the pace. If you want to burn fat, you have to keep your heart rate in the anaerobic zone, anyone who is interested should read the method, but any smart watch is good for following this, I have one Stratos I used it. If you want to train, you can increase the pace, it starts to feel uncomfortable for me around 5:15-5:30, I run about this in competitions, so somewhere here is the upper limit of my comfort zone, the machine can do a little more than that.

It actually feels a little easier to jog on the treadmill than in reality, true, this is also influenced by the fact that I can run in short pants and a t-shirt in super light running shoes, and I don't have to put on 3 kilos of clothes because of the 2 degree cold.

Of course, there are no topographic conditions either, which is the roughest strain, we have already run up from Naphegy to János-hegy to the Erzsébet lookout with my colleague SonkaMod, and the Xmund XD-T2 does not even come close to this load.

By the way, it is not at all unpleasant to use,

you have to get used to this type of mechanized form of movement, and luckily I can list countless advantages. For example, that no need to get dressed and go out into the coldthat no need to contend with the terrain, you can watch a movie at the same time, or even hold the barrier. By the way, I don't recommend the latter, because it breaks the harmony of the running movement, because the arms help a lot in finding a good rhythm. Another disadvantage of the Xmund XD-T2 is that the conveyor belt is a bit narrow, for my height of 175 cm and my weight of 75 kilos, it was just good. It's not easy to step over, but it happened because I stepped on the edge of the device with my foot. Fortunately, I didn't fall, but anyone taller or bigger than me will fight him.

The parameters for jogging can be monitored on the display on the front.

Shows time, speed, distance traveled, calories burned and total distance traveled. I think the display is a bit lame from the point of view that, for example, the maximum time can be 99,99 minutes, which e.g. it's hard to fit in a half marathon, I run around 1 hour 50 minutes when I'm in top shape, i.e. under 110 minutes. The same is true for the calories burned, which is also limited to 999 kilocalories for some reason, and more than this can be lost with a more vigorous, longer jogging. The XD-T2 you step around the parameters by yourself, this cannot be said, but patience pays off, sooner or later you will reach the desired value. As for the mobile holder, that would have been a good idea, but a larger device just covers the panel showing the parameters, and it also vibrates a little from running, so in 15-20 minutes my mobile phone moved so much that I had to adjust it.

Summary

The Xmund XD-T2 is one entry-level treadmill, and this it is very noticeable in places. Mostly it is can be connected to its ergonomics, e.g. the remote control is quite dirty, the display can only move the parameters around, the use of materials is cheap in some places, but maybe its biggest shortcoming is that it is not possible to adjust the inclination of the conveyor belt. I think the listed ones fit into the shortcomings of an entry-level treadmill, in exchange, you can run on it at 12 km/h, you can put it away with its rollers, it stops automatically if the safety clip falls off, you can listen to music on it and it's very cheap.

And you read such articles precisely to catch such price/value champion stuff, because the BGBFQ54  available with coupon code a 80 500 FtDue to the conversion rates of the webshops, the prices may differ for different currencies (e.g. if you set the webshop to HUF, the prices are usually higher than if you set it to USD). The prices indicated in the article are informative and in all cases are HUF equivalents of the price displayed on the webshop's interface in USD (or in EUR, if there is no USD option) (according to the interbank exchange rate valid at the time of writing the article).for you really can't get anything at home. The more serious treadmills start around HUF 150-200, but the price is double that of the test product, so in the absence of an alternative, I say that the Xmund XD-T000 is completely acceptable for beginners, but you should restrain your expectations if you buy this model. you choose. The product Sent from EU warehouse, with free shipping, so this promises to be a very good deal.
