In our country, we were among the first to start testing and using KuKirin's scooters - then still running under the name Kugoo. Their products appeared on the market roughly 6 years ago, and we tried most of their models and wrote reviews about them. Their products have gone through an amazing quality improvement in the last couple of years, they have grown from real waste to price/value champions. The KuKirin G2 Max, for example, is a real best seller, we see more and more of it on the roads, but its bigger brothers - such as the KuKirin G4 - are not exactly vehicles to be underestimated. Since we already wrote one exhaustive article on electric scooters, in our current content we only cover the brand and their models, as well as type defects, for which the RollBase we used the help of a specialist service. If you have any questions or are looking for service, feel free to call János RollBase and refer to RendeljKínai. Let's see what experiences have been gathered in connection with their electric scooters!

These are the best KuKirin electric scooters (2024)
For our list, we have mostly selected the KuKirin electric scooters that we have either tested ourselves - for example KuKirin G2 Max, KuKirin G2 Pro, KuKirin G4 and many others -, owned or are in our circle of acquaintances and have sufficient experience with them. Or just because they are fundamentally interesting. Unusually, we also describe which types we don't recommend, fortunately they are disappearing from the market, but it's okay if you know about them. We made our final judgment regarding the following:
- Based on customer feedback
- Based on our own experience (because we also use electric scooters every day)
- Relying on the experience of the RollBase service
- Based on individual research, the basis of which is the opinions of domestic and international customers
- Based on opinions read in various forums and special groups
Who we recommend it to
In my opinion, the KuKirin G2 Max is the price/value champion electric scooter in the KuKirin range. Since the majority of people are over 70 kilograms, the 1000 W cocoa is needed to keep the right pace. The KuKirin G2 Max knows this, and over a sufficiently long distance. If you kill it, you get a range of 45-50, if not 60 kilos, so it is ideal for commuting, the soft shock absorption dampens road irregularities well, and the price of the scooter remains within the tolerable range. Basically, we recommend it to everyone who doesn't live on a mountain, weighs more than 80 kilos, doesn't have to make significant differences in level, but wants a strong, yet handy scooter.
Why is it out of stock?
Most KuKirin electric scooters, including the KuKirin G2 Max, have an adjustable handlebar height. In other words, if you are tall, lift them up, if you are short, push them down to the lower position. One thing you have to be careful of: never fiddle with the steering column, because it leads to rapid fatigue. The KuKirin G2 Max comes with all-terrain tires, so it can handle a bit of off-road driving, it has a big tread, and because it scrapes at the back, you can expose your bottom on looser and dirtier roads if you're good at it. Bring the BMW feeling on a scooter, only you don't even need a roundabout. Although I am basically not a big fan of sitting, it comes with an armchair, so you can also rollerblade while sitting, although there are much better solutions for this purpose. One of our favorites is the KuKirin G2 Max electric scooter, which we would also like to take home.

Who we recommend it to
The little brother of the KuKirin G2 Max is the KuKirin G2 Pro, as if they were based on it. Its greatest value is the low weight, I'm not saying that you'll be a deer running up the stairs with 23,5 kilograms, but it's still on the tolerable limit to carry it upstairs. The 600 W motor power limits the possibilities, even if it looks very similar to the G2 Max. Due to the small wheel size, it's not a problem that you can't beat it. We recommend up to and including 80 kilos, but even with lighter drivers you feel really in your element. We recommend the KuKirin G70 Pro to anyone who weighs around 2 kilograms and doesn't want to break the piggy bank.
Why is it out of stock?
Two things really stuck with us when we tested the KuKirin G2 Pro. One of these is that you could get the hot yellow-black Verda for the price of the more expensive stick rollers, and how pleasant its suspension is. It doesn't shake your dental fillings, the two-wheeler is completely livable. Although it does not pick up the asphalt with its power, due to the low curb weight it is easy to steer, and 40-45 km/h is quite a lot for the 8,5-inch wheels. The height of the handlebars is also adjustable, and it essentially brings the KuKirin G2 Max electric scooter in everything, only in a smaller size.

Who we recommend it to
We march further up the imaginary electric scooter ladder, but still in the universe of 48 V machines. At the top of this is the KuKirin G2 Master, which is like 2 KuKirin G2 Max scooters pushed together. This is the first scooter on our list that can also be used for mountain climbing, as two motors push 2×1000 W underneath, which can be used to move the vehicle. Fortunately, the basic logic is the same: relatively large wheels, excellent shock absorption, fun off-road tires, not too much weight, realistic price. But all this on the mountain, so we highly recommend the KuKirin G2 Master to those who walk a lot between hills, under gardens and don't need a planet-destroying roller monster.
Why is it out of stock?
The Kukirin G2 Master ate the bread of the G3 Pro a bit, because it is cheaper, its lights are really great, but the price is often lower than the G3 Pro. It also looks good, has a big step, and has an adjustable steering wheel. Actually, somewhere around 2000 W, there is the saying that it moves an average driver with dynamics that do not need much more. Well, that's not true, because once you realize what it's like to be dragged along by a more powerful, more tightly driven scooter, it's hard to get over the feeling afterwards, but the G2 Master sits on the throne of electric scooters that are not yet capable of suicidal pace and performance. We really like this machine, in fact we recommend it to everyone, just put some street tires on it, and if it ate the first set of brakes, replace the cable system with a hydro one, because it deserves it.

Who we recommend it to
The KuKirin G3 Pro is already in the category with which one does not joke. Its technical parameters show that it no longer belongs to the urban jogging set, it easily beats the average motorist at a red light, in fact, a 50 cm3also replaced a scooter. There's no more fooling around with cable disc brakes here, hydraulics help you stop. Let's just say I don't understand why you can fold down the steering column, no one will pick up the almost 40 kilograms, but at least you can lift it into the back of the station wagon. Since it is a two-motor electric scooter, the KuKirin G3 Pro is a great climber, and the maximum power of 3000 W can also move drivers over 100 kilos well, even uphill, so we recommend the KuKirin G3 Pro model primarily for them.
Why is it out of stock?
If we look behind things a little, it is not difficult to notice that apart from the design, the KuKirin G3 Pro does not share too much with the KuKirin G2 Max and G2 Pro models. On the one hand, its operating voltage is higher, because at 52 V, less amperes are needed to perform the same work than at 48 volts. On the other hand, it's practically an electric bike with a sluice key, brutal lights, extra wide and long steps, similar suspension to the KuKirin G2 Max and G2 Pro models, but designed for a much higher pace. A real cruiser that takes its passengers through mountains and valleys. Since the battery is huge, dual charging is now possible, which cuts the 0-100% sprint in half. The battery can also be removed if you need to replace it for some reason or if you want to charge it separately.

Who we recommend it to
Nothing shows the evolution of KuKirin electric scooters better than the fact that the KuKirin G4 came out later than the KuKirin G2 Max/Pro, G3 Pro, and it already has subtle changes and revisions. Someone told the manufacturer that 90% of people drive on paved roads and not off-road, so they got a much better tire that doesn't have to be burned out, rather than needlessly bumpy ones and replaced with a street one. I also like this black sleeping bag design, and of course I had a little fun with the tights. Based on the more is better principle, it is already 60 V, and the 2000 W engine power makes it an excellent "off the bench" scooter. There is no drive influence at the front, so this is a highly recommended scooter for those who like to push like a pig, but avoid hills.
Why is it out of stock?
The main virtue of the KuKirin G4 is that it pushes a lot. It drives in the rear, like more sporty cars, it has a lot of torque, and you can also start the bottom, so it's a real cool electric scooter. Of course, you don't have to go like an animal with him, then his range won't drop so quickly either. The wheel is a little bigger than the KuKirin electric scooters listed so far and it also has normal suspension, which is useful in everyday life. I think the setup has two weak points: one is that it needs a hydraulic brake. If you're already going like a pig, then stop the same way. The other is my new headset, the display in it is hard to see in sunlight. However, the team has such a feeling with it that anyone who wants to go will love it.

Who we recommend it to
It's a brand new KuKirin model, so when I saw the KuKirin G1 Pro electric scooter, I thought of the boy band New kids on the Block. This could be the missing link in the KuKirin G2 series, and where will it be shot? If I had to guess one, it would be KuKirin G2 Max by one, even though many of you must have already realized that the number after the G gives some clue about the size of the scooter. In other words, in principle, this should be a smaller model, because it has a singular in its name. In comparison, the KuKirin G2 Max is heavier, but also stronger, and has a rather strange, cyberpunk design, which is also reinforced by the programmable LEDs. It also has two engines, so it will be good for steep and hilly terrain, so we recommend it to those who like the look and live in the mountains.
Why is it out of stock?
Although we have no experience with it yet - but we are already working on it - this outfit is quite forward-looking and bold. We are always happy with extra lights, and in the case of the KuKirin G1 Pro, there are 13 of them. Because you need not only to see, but also to be seen, this electric scooter becomes a rolling Christmas tree in the dark. Based on the previous models, this one may also have good suspension, but for some reason they returned to this off-road line, the tires of this one are also bumpy. In any case, we are curious to see what the KuKirin G1 Pro will produce based on real tests, with particular regard to the range, because it has already received an energy absorption system - KERS -, unlike the free-running models so far.

Who we recommend it to
The KuKirin G4 Max is already the level we imagine an electric motor to be. Extreme parameters in every respect, and corresponding weight and load capacity. It can carry 150 kilograms if necessary, which we can believe from the 3200 W, which is not even the peak, but its nominal power. It has a huge battery, it is said to go 95 kilometers at medium speed, whether that means anything in this case, because the end can be 85 km/h, which is a terrible amount. We recommend it to those who want to commute long distances at a fast pace and have experience with such powerful machines. This is the size class where rough, motorcycle protective clothing is the minimum.
Why is it out of stock?
The KuKirin G4 Max is very much not the gaming category. Robust irons everywhere, front hydraulic shock absorbers move in the fork, stopping is ensured by 4-piston hydraulic brakes. The wheel is also larger than usual, 12 inches, and it also has off-road tires, so it is a real all-rounder monster. I looked at what kind of charging connector it has, it is said to be able to handle 10 At, which you will need to charge such a large battery. Fortunately, it can be removed, because the 64 kilogram body is not as easy to move as its smaller brothers. This is actually a more powerful off-road version of the KuKirin G4. As a new model, we have no idea what to expect from it, but it's sure to make a big statement in some way.
What do you need to know about KuKirin electric scooters?
A rather interesting development curve can be seen in the life of the brand. They used to be founded as Kugoo in 2015 and released their electric scooters under the same name, which were actually E-Twow copies. There wasn't much originality in what they did, but you could get their devices for hellishly cheap, a kind of throwaway electric scooter market developed. Such models were the Kugoo S1 and S1 Pro, which was not a big release, but 5 of them have been in operation for 2 years in the family members of the editorial office.
Then, their first series of higher-powered electric scooters already included quite good models - Kugoo G-Booster, Kugoo G2 Pro, which can also be purchased under the name Ienyrid - but, despite this, their low-end machines really damaged the brand's reputation. Starting in 2018, they sold their products under the name Kugoo Kirin, and here some really promising models were also hit, such as the M2 Pro. Then sometime at the end of 2022, the two names were merged, which became KuKirin, and the 2023 they already started the model year by releasing a bunch of completely new electric scooters, which were already of good quality and cheap enough, littering the market with real price/value champions. Such was the example of the KuKirin G2 Max or the newer KuKirin G4, but practically the entire G series is full of excellent two-wheelers. In addition, the design somehow managed to be collected, especially cool and unique electric scooters with a black and yellow look started to flood the market.
Our personal experience is that the quality has improved a lot, and the parts have also become standardized. The previous Kugoo G3, which was created within the framework of crowdfunding, was a real sick bed in 2022, but later several revisions were carried out on it, and the two-wheeler called KuKirin G3 is now a decent machine, on which the company specifically corrected many errors. This brings us to the present, and new models will arrive in the second quarter of 2024, replacing or supplementing the previous series. KuKirin has finally hit the ground running and sells affordable, albeit not top-quality, electric scooters at a price that is understandable even when compared to Hungarian wallets.
Of course, you don't have to jump on a pink cloud right away, let's see what typos we know about and which models we don't recommend.
Kukrin electric scooters, which we do not recommend
Previously, we praised models such as the KuKirin G2 Max or the KuKirin G4 scooter as carbon, but we should also list those that you should avoid. Here, one should think primarily of the older two-wheelers, from the era when mostly copies were produced or shamelessly copied from Western European and American manufacturers.
In my opinion, KuKirin is mostly weak in the stick roller market. On the one hand, because the Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooters have beaten everyone to shreds in the last couple of years. On the other hand, since Ninebot bought Segway, so many good machines have been put on the market that only the very big names in this segment - like Vsett - are able to kick the ball, but they are also expensive, and this is already the hunting ground of the larger KuKirin electric scooters. The same is true for premium and very expensive luxury models, a Kaabo costs one and a half to two times as much as a KuKirin with similar skills, and there are no KuKirin models in the Nami or Dualtron level electric scooter segment. The company knows where it belongs, and fortunately, it doesn't even bother with anything other than what it really understands. Let's see which models you should avoid!
Kugoo S1/S1 Pro/ES2/Kugoo Kirin S1/KugooKirin S1 Pro
KuKirin had an era of copying E-Twow electric scooters. Around 2020, you could get monsters with a range of 15 km and a top speed of 25-30 km/h, which did not even come close to the quality of the E-Twow. The typos were as follows:
- weak brake
- slippery solid rubber in most cases
- electrical faults
- breakable closing mechanism (S1, S1 Pro)
- broken display
- jerky "throttle"
- few parts at first
- rattling frame
As you can see, there was a problem with almost everything, moreover, these scooters could accelerate up to 30-35 km/h on a slope. From here, stop with a foot brake and a motor brake. They still sell such a variant called the KuKirin S3 Pro, which we haven't tested yet, but it looks a lot like the previous models. All of them are forgettable, don't buy them.
Kugoo Kirin S4
The Kugoo Kirin S4 followed a similar path as the Kugoo S1, their successors, only received a redesigned frame, but did not show any significant improvements. The worst part is that it has been 1 years since the first Kugoo S3 and this electric scooter still suffers from the same faults as the old models. I don't think I will surprise anyone with what I wrote on the error list:
- the braking distance is extremely long
- a computer that gives false data and goes crazy
- poor build quality
- rattling frame
- poor range
You could still wear them, but they were much more expensive than the previous models, it's lucky that they are no longer available.
KuKirin G3
The KuKirin G3 is the electric scooter that you can (or can't) buy anymore, but it has such a terrible reputation that nobody buys it anymore. It was the first model of the new era of KuKirin, and the money was collected on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo. It turned out to be a huge failure, the Kukrin G3 was still a real veterinary horse at that time, packed with all kinds of non-working innovations. Then a year passed, the Kugoo Kirin G3 came out, which was the umpteenth, revised version of this scooter, they removed problems such as the lights under the kickstand, but it still wasn't the real thing. Then in 2023 came the KuKirin G3, which is a fully affordable electric scooter with a reputation like the old Dacias. It has one big flaw, the concrete hard chassis, other than that it would be a decent machine. Unfortunately, the KuKirin G2 Max is an even better vehicle for less, and then there is the more powerful KuKirin G2 Master or the rear-wheel übermensch, the KuKirin G4. End of story, the KuKirin G3 is completely out of the market. As a point of interest, I am listing the defects of the 2022, first-series machines, you MUST NOT buy them, ever.
- 10 out of 9 had their controller burnt
- instead of 1000 W approx. Its performance felt like 500
- the light under the stage got wet and cut out the electronics (on the new ones, this was "walled in", the light is no longer there)
- concrete hard shock absorption, and the rubber bushing in it also broke
- sometimes the display went on, sometimes not
- the adhesive of the rubber cover on the step came off (it was hanging even after zero kilometers)
- at first there were no parts for it
So, even if you find a 2023-2024 variant, you should still buy a KuKirin G2 Max, KuKirin G2 Master or KuKirin G4 electric scooter instead.
How to choose a KuKirin electric scooter?
The question comes up all the time, and people typically struggle a lot on which KuKirin electric model to choose. There are those who write multi-page letters, those who produce Excel tables, those who change models, everyone wants to figure things out differently. If you are still at the beginning of the process, we will give you some good pointers on how to choose and how not to choose among the KuKirin electric scooter models.
A house or apartment with a garden?
One of the most important questions that many people do not take into account. It really doesn't matter whether a 40-kilogram monster has to be pushed out of one garage or dragged down from the third, as well as whether it's standing in the middle of the living room or in the yard. If you live in a studio apartment and do not have a common room, a storage room or a basement, then you should not buy an electric scooter that weighs more than 25 kilograms. The borderline is the KuKirin G2 Max and its smaller brother the KuKirin G2 Pro.
Should I take the KuKirin electric scooter up the stairs or upstairs?
An average man, 175 cm tall and weighing 75 kilograms, can move a third of his body weight relatively dynamically when he has to lift something. This means 25 kilograms, but since the scooter is not a kettlebell, but all kinds of things stick out of it, it is not so easy to spin with it in a stairwell. It doesn't matter whether the machine fits in the elevator or not - if there is one at all - that is, the smaller electric scooters will be suitable here. The models that can be considered are the KuKirin G2 Max and its smaller brother the KuKirin G2 Pro.
Flat countryside or hilly terrain?
On flat terrain, the point is that the electric scooter should be able to maintain a relatively high, steady pace for a longer period of time. In this case, any rear-wheel KuKirin model will do, KuKirin G2 Pro, KuKirin G2 Max, KuKirin G4 from the above list are also good, but also the KuKirin M5 Pro - test here - if you want to go off-road.
On the hilly terrain, God forbid, on a mountain, the components are subject to a much greater load, the cables and connectors can heat up. Choose a two-motor scooter here, that is, the KuKirin G1 Pro, KuKirin G2 Master, KuKirin G3 Pro and KuKirin G4 Max can be considered.
Did you want to go hiking with it or just commute?
The tour can mean many things, a stroll around Lake Venice or rough terrain. Whatever your destination, range will be paramount. Look for a scooter that operates at a high operating voltage and is equipped with a battery with the highest possible capacity. Possible models are, for example, the KuKirin G4, but also the G3 Pro, in single-motor mode.
How many of you will use the electric scooter?
It is a rare choice, but it is conceivable, for example, in the case of a couple that a man and a woman use the same KuKirin electric scooter. In this case, extremes – very heavy/strong or very light/weak – models should be avoided. The average KuKirin machines are not bad, the KuKirin G1 Pro, KuKirin G2 Max and KuKirin G2 Master can be a good choice and with these you can "stand further".
How many kilos do you weigh?
When how much, they used to say. The heavier you are, the worse the electric scooters will perform. For example, the 2 W of the KuKirin G600 Pro can move a 70-kilogram driver decently, but not a 100-kilogram driver, so the 2 W of the KuKirin G1000 Max is needed. The same on the mountain is already 1600-2000 W, in the all-wheel drive version. Possible models are the KuKirin G1 Pro and the KuKirin G2 Master, but the G3 Pro also plays.
And most importantly: how much money do you have for KuKirin models?
The pricing of electric scooters can change very quickly. Countless things influence it, the EUR price, discounts, whether it is a discontinued model, and so on. Obviously, the more powerful the electric scooter and the newer it is, the more they will ask for it. If you do not have at least 500-600 euros - at least at the time of writing this article - then you should not think about such a large scooter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which is the best KuKirin electric scooter?
It is difficult to answer this question because it is necessary to know the spirit of the Hungarian people in order to answer the question. It is perhaps easiest to approach it from the point of view, which is definitely not. Let's not make it pretty, there aren't many decent KuKirin electric scooters among stick scooters, and they haven't competed in the premium category either, but the KuKirin G4 Max might show something now. Since extensive traffic and consumption data are available to RendeljKínait, we can say with certainty that the price/value ratio is the decisive factor in our country.
Based on these, the rear-wheeled KuKirin G2 Max is the best KuKirin electric scooter, because its price is often below the domestic psychological limit, and 1000 W already impresses even a larger driver with sufficient dynamics. Stepping down, the favorite of smaller drivers is the KuKirin G2 Pro, and its older brother, the KuKirin G4, with 2000 W and a stronger frame.
However, neither is good for mountain dwellers, a two-motor solution is the best. There is not much experience with the all-new KuKirin G1 Pro, but the 2×800 W machine is promising, and the rougher version of this is the KuKirin G2 Master, which is essentially a KuKirin G2 Max, only with 2×1000 W. This is enough even for people over 100 kilos who are walking on the mountain.
Why is the KuKirin G2 Max the real sweet spot?
One of the big advantages of the KuKirin G2 Max is that it is cheap and its ride performance is roughly the same as a 50cc scooter. It goes almost 50 kilometers on a single charge, its top speed is just under 50, and it has normal shock absorption. The importance of the latter cannot be overemphasized due to the Hungarian roads, moreover, electricity is much cheaper than fuel, so it is also cheaper to operate.
Which KuKirin scooter should we buy?
We can give you a very similar answer to the question "Which is the best KuKirin electric scooter?" to the question: it depends on who you ask in the editorial office. Some live in Pest, some live in Buda among the hills, some live in the countryside, and the traffic rhythm and distances are completely different there than in the capital. In addition to these, our mass, our gender, we are in a different life situation, some live in a house with a garden, some live in an apartment. However, we would accept all of the well-known and recommended KuKirin electric scooters.
Which KuKirin electric scooter should you buy if you live in the mountains?
Definitely one with two motors, i.e. KuKirin G1 Pro, Kukirin G2 Master or KuKirin G3 Pro. Prolonged uphill loading of single-motor electric scooters can damage the controller, and cables and connectors can overheat or melt.
Which KuKirin electric scooter should I buy for my child?
Mostly nothing, the company is not strong in stick scooters. Fortunately, there is one our exhaustive article on electric scooters, in which we also mention countless small and light electric scooters.
How good is the supply of parts for KuKirin electric scooters?
A RollBase service based on his experience, it is quite good, but if there are no parts for something, you can find replacement elements on the market. Since there are a lot of them, these electric scooters can no longer be called very rare or special, some of their parts - e.g. braking system, tires, etc. – and anyway, it is worth replacing them with better ones when they wear out.
Which KuKirin electric scooter do you recommend for off-road use?
The KuKirin M5 Pro is a very robust monster with thick telescopes, but in fact, any dual-motor KuKirin electric scooter is suitable for off-road use, equipped with cam tires.
What types of defects can I expect if I buy a KuKirin electric scooter?
A typical disease of non-premium electric scooters – and premium ones too, just think of the Kaabo Mantis – is the brake problem. The problem isn't that they wouldn't hold, it's more that the disc hits, which causes it to wear the pad asymmetrically, and even its sound is annoying.
The other is the wear and tear of consumable parts. In addition to the brake, tires and bearings can perish during use, but these can almost always be replaced. There are quite a lot of people who do not skate properly, who fidget with the steering column, they may have problems with the closing mechanism - or where most of the power is generated - or with the steering stem, and screws may loosen due to resonance, which sometimes need to be re-tightened.
Of course, all electric scooters, including some KuKirin models, can have unique quirks, you can find them in our linked tests.
What should you replace the factory off-road tires with if you use them in the city?
The experience is that quite a few models arrive with relatively bumpy off-road tires that are not ideal for the city. On the one hand, they are unnecessarily loud, and on the other hand, they do not grip well enough, so it is more difficult for electric scooters to transfer their power to the asphalt and the braking effect also deteriorates. In the city, however, you can collect all kinds of unwanted objects from the asphalt, be it nails, spikes, shards of glass, and the list goes on. In other words, to avoid a puncture, it is worth choosing a well-adherent street tire with a "self-healing" gel layer. This is sold by the TUOVT brand, but of course other manufacturers also have similar products.
The PMT brand is considered the Holy Grail of tires, these are premium tires with very good grip. It is worth asking the RollBase service what sizes are available and whether it fits the KuKirin electric scooters.
Can KuKirin electric scooters be tuned, and if so, how?
2 things tend to get tired on KuKirin electric scooters:
- the rubber
- and the brake
We have already written about the former, and in connection with the latter, it is often the case that where it is not hydraulic, it is worth replacing it, and if the grip points are good, then you can usually install a larger disc in place of the old one. That's also why the larger 10-inch wheel variants are better, because you can replace the typically 160 mm disc with a larger one, then throw in a Zoom or Magura set, the exact type is only limited by your wallet.
Users typically overestimate the range of KuKirin electric scooters - not surprisingly, no one goes 25 km/h on them - in which case the additional battery that can be mounted on the handlebars can come in handy. Here, the mass and the wallet set a limit to how much capacity you can expand the factory AC.
